 The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has officially announced the recruitment of Engineering Executive Trainees (EET) for the year 2026. This is a prestigious opportunity for engineering graduates to join India’s largest integrated power utility.

  • Job Title: Engineering Executive Trainee (EET)

  • Total Vacancies: 515 Posts

  • Grade & Pay Scale: E1 Grade (₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000)

  • Disciplines: * Electrical: 165 Posts

    • Mechanical: 210 Posts

    • Electronics & Instrumentation: 125 Posts

    • CS / IT: 15 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this recruitment, candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements:

Educational Qualification

  • Degree: B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE in relevant engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Science).

  • Minimum Marks: At least 65% aggregate marks (relaxed to 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

  • Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have appeared for and qualified in GATE 2025.

Age Limit (as of the last date of application)

  • Upper Age Limit: 27 Years.

  • Relaxations: * SC/ST: 5 years

    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

    • PwBD: 10–15 years (depending on category)

  • SC / ST / PwBD / XSM / Female Candidates: Nil (Exempted)
